Old Homestead-Painting Project

From the above pictures, you can see I started with blank white canvas and added a black acrylic sketch to lay in the basic design of the painting

then I added a very thin even coat of linseed oil, but you can use any choice of oil medium to do this step with.

Colors I used are:  Alizarin Crimson, Titanium White, Cyan Blue,Vandyke Brown, Lemon Yellow, Ivory Black  (But I encourage you to try this using colors of your choice)

Brushes:    2 inch brush, Fan brush, palette knife,     purchase these brushes here.

Canvas: 18×24
